The Gastronome
Our client was The Gastronome, a fresh food dining location at California State University, Fullerton. We created a multimedia campaign for The Gastronome. We conducted research about the company, learning about their history and their target audience and their lifestyle. It was from the research that we created the creative brief where we broke down the research into important details for making our creatives. Afterward, we came up with our selling idea, “The ____ alternative”, and tagline, “Your ^everything place”. Then we created our print, out-of-home, TV, radio, and new media advertisements.
I was in charge of creating our new media ad. I decided to make a mobile app which would allow customers to check the daily menu, order to-go, get the item of the day which requires consumers to have the app, and creating a gastro-meet, an RSVP system for consumers to send invites. My group and I utilized different resources to gain all of our research. We accessed databases like Mint Global and Business Source Premier.
